About the plant
Eleocharis parvula is a low-growing grass-like plant that sends out short runners close to the parent plant. Small clumps planted closely together gradually grow into an even, natural ground cover. Its fine texture works equally well in nano aquariums and across larger open areas, creating a soft transition between substrate, stone and hardscape. Its height makes this species a dedicated foreground plant.
Planting and care
Divide the plant into small clumps and plant them fairly close together. Provide good light, even nutrition and added CO2 so that the carpet establishes densely and evenly.
