About the plant
Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' is a smaller, narrow-leaved form of the Asian Java fern. Its name refers to the often three-lobed leaves, although their shape can vary from entire to multi-lobed. The elegant silhouette suits stone and roots in both small and large aquariums. The variety is as hardy as other Microsorum and works well for beginners and experienced aquascapers alike.
Planting and care
Attach the rhizome to stone or a root and do not cover it with substrate. Small new plants often form at the leaf tips; carefully detach them once they have grown and place them on new hardscape.
