About the plant
Limnophila sessiliflora is a beautiful, undemanding stem plant from South-East Asia, formerly often called Ambulia. Its finely divided leaves create the same soft, airy feel as Cabomba, but the plant manages with considerably less light. The stems can quickly reach around 40 cm and grow 3–4 cm wide. In good conditions it can also send out runners and spread along the bottom.
Planting and care
Plant several stems in a group and trim frequently to keep the shape dense. In low light the plant may become sparse and elongated; better light and added CO2 counter this and encourage fuller growth.
