About the plant

Echinodorus 'Barthii', tidigare såld som 'Double Red', är en ståtlig solitärväxt för större akvarier. Rosetten blir ungefär 20–30 cm bred och bladen 25–50 cm höga. De yngsta bladen slår ut i mörkrött och övergår stegvis till mörkgrönt när de åldras, vilket ger plantan ett levande färgspel. Med god belysning och tillräckligt med mikronäring blir kontrasten som tydligast.

Planting and care

Plant in nutrient-rich bottom substrate and provide good light, micronutrients and preferably added CO2. Remove older or shading leaves at intervals so plants below receive light.
