Tropica Aquarium Soil 9 L

About the base substrate

Tropica Aquarium Soil is a complete active bottom substrate made from natural volcanic minerals. It is used without any other bottom substrate, and the 2–3 mm grain size makes planting easy. The material provides good conditions for roots and contributes to a natural aquarium environment. Soil lowers pH and affects water chemistry.

How to use it

Spread Soil directly as the aquarium base layer, making it deeper at the back if desired for greater depth. Change 25–50 per cent of the water at least twice a week during the aquarium’s first four weeks. Calculate the required litres as the aquarium length × width × desired layer depth in centimetres, divided by 1,000.
