About the base substrate
Tropica Aquarium Soil Powder is a complete active bottom substrate made from natural volcanic minerals. It is used without any other bottom substrate. The fine 1–2 mm grain size makes it easier to plant small plants and create an even, detailed foreground. Soil Powder provides good conditions for root establishment and lowers pH.
How to use it
Spread Soil Powder directly as the aquarium base layer. It can be used throughout the aquarium or wherever you want a finer-grained surface. Change 25–50 per cent of the water at least twice a week during the aquarium’s first four weeks. Calculate the required litres as the aquarium length × width × desired layer depth in centimetres, divided by 1,000.
