About the plant
Bucephalandra sp. 'Needle Leaf' is an Asian epiphyte with very narrow, slightly wavy green leaves. Each leaf is less than half a centimetre wide and about 1–2 cm long, giving it an unusually fine scale on small roots and stones. Many tiny white spots become visible underwater, and the youngest parts of the rhizome can show a beautiful red tint. Growth is slow, and this variety is somewhat more demanding than the easiest Bucephalandra varieties.
Planting and care
Attach the rhizome to wood or stone and never cover it with substrate. A little extra light and added CO2 support growth and help the plant develop its finest structure.
