About the plant
Bucephalandra 'Kedagang' comes from Borneo and is recognised by its long, narrow, dark green leaves with small white spots. Its rhizome has a warm red tone, and the leaves can develop a metallic blue sheen underwater. The leaves grow to around 1–2 cm wide and up to 6 cm long, making them a fine scale for details on wood and stone. Its slow growth gradually creates a dense, refined structure.
Planting and care
Attach the rhizome to wood or stone and leave it completely free of substrate. Give the plant time to establish, and keep the leaves free from debris and algae.
