About the plant

Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Red' is an Indian variety with narrow, upright leaves that can grow to over 50 cm tall. The leaves are around 1–1.5 cm wide, with gently wavy edges and sometimes a subtle green midline, depending on aquarium conditions. Its tall, linear shape adds elegant depth to the background without creating a solid wall of leaves. Colour and contrast develop best when the plant has favourable conditions.

Planting and care

Plant in a nutrient-rich bottom substrate and provide good light. Steady nutrition and added CO2 help the plant achieve its full height, colour and leaf quality.
