About the plant
Helanthium tenellum 'Green', formerly Echinodorus tenellus 'Green', is a small rosette plant that can quickly form a carpet 5–10 cm tall. Unlike the more reddish common form, this variety retains its fresh green colour even under intense lighting. Its fine growth habit makes it useful as a soft foreground around stone and roots.
Planting and care
Provide good light and a nutrient-rich bottom substrate for a low, continuous carpet. Let the runners spread between the planted clumps.
