About the plant

Echinodorus 'Ozelot' är en dekorativ hybrid mellan Echinodorus schluteri 'Leopard' och Echinodorus 'Barthii'. Den blir omkring 20–50 cm hög och bildar en 20–40 cm bred rosett. Namnet kommer från de elliptiska mörka fläckarna på de rödbruna bladen. Fläckarna är tydligast på de yngsta bladen men finns kvar även i svagare ljus, vilket gör sorten ovanligt pålitlig som mönstrat blickfång.

Planting and care

Plant in nutrient-rich substrate with ample room around the rosette. The plant is undemanding and a good choice for beginners; remove older leaves when it needs shaping.
