About the plant

Alternanthera reineckii 'Pink' är en färgstark sydamerikansk stjälkväxt vars rosa bladundersidor skapar en effektfull kontrast mot akvariets gröna växter. Stjälkarna blir ungefär 25–50 cm höga och gör sig bäst i en tydlig grupp i bakgrunden. Med bra ljus fördjupas bladens röda toner och plantan blir ett varmt blickfång mellan sten, rot och frisk grönska. Clip-formatet levereras som planta i en 5 cm kruka.

Planting and care

Provide good light, steady nutrition and added CO2 for the best colour and growth. Pinch or cut off top shoots and plant them in the substrate; the mother plant responds by producing more side shoots and becoming bushier.
