About the plant
Anubias barteri var. caladiifolia is a highly decorative variety with large, heart-shaped leaves and a calm, architectural character. The leaves live for several years, so its slow growth gradually creates dense, substantial groups. A thriving group can eventually exceed 50 cm in width and makes a lasting focal point in a larger aquarium.
Planting and care
Position the plant where its large leaves have room and avoid burying the creeping rhizome. Attach it to stone or wood, or plant only the roots in substrate with the rhizome left free.
