About the plant
Shinnersia rivularis 'Weiss-Grün' is a colour mutation discovered at Dennerle's aquatic plant nursery. The 30–60 cm-long stems carry leaves up to 10 cm wide with distinctive white veins. The plant grows quickly towards the surface, creating a bright, marbled look in the midground. Several plants together conceal its otherwise somewhat sparse growth habit and create a fuller group.
Planting and care
Provide good light and added CO2 for clear colouration and denser growth. Avoid high temperatures. Pinch out shoots that reach the surface and replant them in the group.
