About the plant

Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis 53B' is an Asian stem plant that produces an unusually large number of side shoots and quickly develops into a full bush. Its stems grow to around 15–40 cm tall and 7–12 cm wide. The leaves are narrower and lighter green than those of standard 'Siamensis', but can turn reddish brown in good light. Its vigorous growth makes it an effective background plant that quickly adds volume.

Planting and care

Trim frequently to maintain a dense, bushy form. Replant the cut tops; they soon form roots and continue growing.
