About the plant
Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' is a compact cultivated form that develops an almost creeping growth habit in good light. Pinching or trimming upright tips encourages plenty of side shoots, allowing the plant to form a low, dense, light green group. It works well as a slightly taller carpet or a softly shaped bush in the foreground and midground of the aquarium. It also tolerates some shade from larger plants.
Planting and care
Trim the upright shoots regularly to retain the low, dense form. Without added CO2 and in lower light, growth becomes more upright and less compact.
