About the plant
Hygrophila pinnatifida and moss are established on a mangrove root, together creating a living, natural hardscape. The Indian Hygrophila pinnatifida develops brown-patterned leaves with burgundy undersides and horizontal side shoots that readily attach to wood and stone. The shoots grow to approximately 15–40 cm tall and 10–20 cm wide. The combination provides both fine texture close to the root and height that can be shaped to suit the aquarium composition.
Planting and care
Provide good light, consistent nutrients and added CO2 for compact growth and clear colour. Regularly pinch out the top shoots to encourage branching, and keep the moss free from debris.
