About the plant

Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' är en kompakt odlingsform som vid bra ljus får ett nästan krypande växtsätt. Genom att nypa eller klippa bort upprätta toppar stimuleras många sidoskott och växten utvecklas till en låg, tät och ljusgrön grupp. Den fungerar fint som en något högre matta eller som en mjukt formad buske i akvariets förgrund och mellanzon. Den klarar även viss skugga från större växter.

Planting and care

Trim the upright shoots regularly to retain the low, dense form. Without added CO2 and in lower light, growth becomes more upright and less compact.
