About the plant

Echinodorus grisebachii 'Bleherae' is a beautiful, undemanding sword plant from South America. It grows to around 20–50 cm tall and develops into a striking specimen in larger aquariums. It can cope with lower light by reaching towards the light, making it a reliable choice for beginners and experienced aquarists alike. It was previously sold under the name 'Paniculatus'.

Planting and care

Plant in nutrient-rich bottom substrate and leave ample room around the rosette. Regularly remove large outer leaves so the plant does not shade smaller species beneath it.
