About the plant
Eleocharis pusilla 'Mini' is shorter than ordinary Eleocharis parvula and usually stays around 3–5 cm tall. Its fine blades spread quickly from small planted portions and can form a dense, even lawn over a large area. Its low mature height makes it especially useful in nano aquariums and detailed aquascapes where proportion matters. Once the carpet has grown together, it requires relatively little maintenance.
Planting and care
Divide the contents into small portions and plant them across the area. Provide good light for the densest, lowest growth; steady nutrition and added CO2 help the carpet close quickly.
