About the plant
Gratiola viscidula is a relatively new North American aquarium plant with a distinctive, almost spiky underwater appearance. Its 1–2 cm-wide stems readily branch and grow together into a very dense cushion. Regular trimming can keep it almost carpet-forming, though it can also grow just over 10 cm high as a structured transition between the foreground and midground.
Planting and care
Provide good light and trim frequently if the group is to remain low. Replant healthy top shoots to build a denser, wider cushion.
