Lagenandra meeboldii ’Red’ – pot, 5-pack

About the plant

Lagenandra meeboldii 'Red' is native to India and resembles a medium-sized, broad-leaved Cryptocoryne in both form and use. Its leaves grow to around 4–8 cm wide and 6–12 cm long, giving the plant a full appearance. The colours can range from dusty green to light violet and red-violet, often on the same leaf, while new leaves emerge pale pink. This unusual palette makes it a sophisticated accent in the midground.

Planting and care

Plant in nutrient-rich substrate and provide sufficient light for the violet and red tones to develop. Leave space around the relatively broad plant.
