About the plant
Ludwigia glandulosa is a beautiful North American stem plant with deep red to burgundy leaves. The stems grow about 15–40 cm tall and 5–12 cm wide, and grow more slowly than many other Ludwigia. Its rich colour creates an exclusive focal point in the midground but requires good conditions to last. In insufficient light, the leaves become greener and the lower leaves may fall off. The species was previously sold as Ludwigia perennis.
Planting and care
Provide strong light, stable CO2 and steady nutrition for healthy growth and deep colour. Leave space between the stems so light can reach the lower leaves.
