About the plant
Micranthemum tweediei 'Monte Carlo' is native to Argentina and has rounded, fresh light-green leaves on creeping stems. It spreads quickly across the foreground and can form a dense, soft carpet that rounds off stones and wood. This cultivar tolerates light shade and is more forgiving than many other small carpeting plants, but grows densest and lowest when conditions are good.
Planting and care
Plant small portions across the area and provide good light and added CO2 for optimal, compact growth. Trim when the carpet becomes so thick that the lower leaves are shaded.
