About the plant
Najas guadalupensis 'Guppy Grass' occurs in the USA and South America and thrives in almost all aquarium conditions. It grows quickly and propagates easily; it is usually left floating freely but can also anchor itself in the substrate with long, fine roots. Its porous, finely branched growth provides excellent shelter for fish fry and shrimp while taking up excess nutrients. It can be used in both aquariums and ponds.
Planting and care
Let the plant float or anchor loose shoots where you want a denser group. Thin it out regularly so it does not shade the rest of the aquarium.
