About the plant
Ranunculus inundatus comes from Australia and is recognisable by deeply lobed leaves resembling small green umbrellas. Unlike many other Ranunculus, it maintains a compact habit around 5–10 cm high. The plant sends out many upright runners with new plantlets and can eventually create a dense yet lively ground cover. Its distinct leaf shape is especially attractive among low stones and finely branched roots.
Planting and care
Provide good light to keep growth low and compact. Steady nutrition and added CO2 promote a dense group. Remove individual long leaves and guide runners towards the areas where you want the stand to spread.
