About the plant
Rotala rotundifolia 'Green' resembles the common Rotala rotundifolia but retains its fresh, light green colour even under intense lighting. Its slender stems, 40–50 cm long, develop many side shoots and gradually form a soft, bushy growth habit that arches slightly. A larger group creates a calm green volume that works well behind stone and roots. This forgiving species is a good choice if you want to start shaping stem plants through pruning.
Planting and care
Plant many stems together with a little air between them. Trim frequently to keep the group healthy, dense and well shaped, and replant the tops where more volume is needed.
