About the plant
Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' is a smaller, narrow-leaved Java fern with leaves ranging from entire to three- or multi-lobed. The ready-mounted root suits both small and large aquariums, immediately giving a mature, natural appearance. The variety is hardy, easy to care for and useful for both beginners and experienced aquascapers. Small new plantlets often form at the leaf tips.
Planting and care
Place the root where it suits the hardscape and leave the rhizome uncovered. Remove older leaves, and gently detach plantlets from the leaf tips once they are large enough to place separately.
