About the plant
Murdannia keisak looks like soft underwater bamboo but is not a grass. The species comes from Asia and is often found in rice fields. Its upright stems carry 3–5 cm long, light-green leaves and readily branch after pruning. With strong light and CO2, the shoot tips can turn reddish and create an attractive colour transition in the otherwise green group.
Planting and care
Trim the longest shoots regularly to retain a varied, dense group. Replant some of the tops; strong light and added CO2 encourage red shoot tips.
