About the plant

Alternanthera reineckii 'Rosanervig' is known for its intensely pink leaves with distinctly pale veins. It grows vigorously but remains more compact, with weaker stem growth than many other Alternanthera varieties. This makes it especially suitable for the midground, and it can also be used further forward if kept well trimmed. Its colour combination creates an immediate focal point and looks particularly good against dark green moss or stone.

Planting and care

Provide strong light, regular fertilisation and stable CO2; all three are important for both growth and colour development. Trim frequently if the plant is to remain low and dense.
