About the plant
A large mangrove root with established Anubias gives the aquarium both structure and mature greenery from day one. Tropica's source description identifies the heart-leaved form Anubias barteri var. caladiifolia, a slow-growing and very durable plant whose leaves can live for several years. Over time, the plant can develop into a large and vigorous group. This combination works as a natural focal point in the midground or as the foundation for a larger hardscape.
Planting and care
Place the entire root where the plant receives low to moderate light. Keep the rhizome free from substrate and remove only older or damaged leaves. Its slow growth requires patience but very little ongoing care.
