About the plant
Anubias barteri var. caladiifolia is a beautiful cultivated form with broad, heart-shaped leaves. This XL product is a large mother plant grown in a 9 cm square pot, so it provides considerably more volume straight away than a young standard plant. The leaves live for several years and, despite its slow growth, the plant can develop into groups that become more than 50 cm wide over time. It works well as a calm, long-lived focal point in the midground.
Planting and care
Remove the plant from the pot and attach the rhizome to stone or wood, or plant the roots so that the rhizome itself remains above the substrate. Provide low to moderate light and remove older leaves as needed. No added CO2 is required.
