About the plant
Bolbitis heudelotii is a West African fern with beautiful, slightly translucent green leaves. It grows to around 15–40 cm high and wide and is best placed in the midground, attached to stone or wood. Its horizontal rhizome must not be covered with substrate, as it may rot.
Planting and care
Attach the plant with fine line until it has anchored itself. It is easily propagated by dividing the horizontal rhizome. CO2 clearly improves growth, and the plant develops best in soft, slightly acidic water.
