About the plant
Cryptocoryne nurii 'Rose Maiden' is a beautiful Malaysian variety found in the wild around 1970. It is similar in size and leaf shape to Cryptocoryne wendtii and is just as easy to grow, but stands out for the colours and patterns of its leaves. Over time, it sends out underground runners that can emerge some distance from the parent plant and form a naturally spreading group. How strongly the leaf colours and markings appear depends on light and nutrients.
Planting and care
Plant in nutrient-rich substrate and allow the plant to establish at its own pace. Even light and good nutrition bring out clearer colours and leaf markings.
