About the plant
Echinodorus 'Aquartica' is characterised by round, fresh bright green leaves and a compact growth habit of around 10–20 cm. Its slow growth makes it easy to maintain as a neat solitary focal point in the midground. The leaves retain their refreshing green colour under normal light and nutrient conditions. The cultivar is a cross between several cultivated Echinodorus, including Echinodorus horemanii and round-leaved species, developed by Kristian Iversen at Aquartica.
Planting and care
Plant in nutrient-rich substrate and provide even lighting and fertilisation. Added CO2 is recommended for stable development and a vigorous, compact rosette.
