About the plant
Eleocharis acicularis is a common, adaptable hairgrass that thrives in most aquarium conditions. Its fine blades grow around 6–15 cm high and bring soft, natural movement to the foreground. After planting, its roots send out new shoots into the surrounding area and gradually develop a continuous green carpet. It works equally well as an open foreground or between small stones and roots.
Planting and care
Plant in an open position without shade from larger plants. When the carpet becomes too high, it can be carefully trimmed back to the desired level.
