About the plant
Hottonia palustris is an easy-care stem plant from Europe and Asia. Its many curved shoots carry fan-shaped, intensely light-green leaves and quickly grow together into a dense group. The stems reach around 10–30 cm high and 4–6 cm wide. Its broad growth habit makes the species especially useful as a soft transition between a very low foreground and a tall background, while its colour highlights red neighbouring plants.
Planting and care
Cut the longest shoots frequently to stimulate new growth from the base and retain a dense, bushy form.
