About the plant
Hygrophila polysperma 'White' is a special selection developed at Tropica’s nursery. Above water, the plant is light green; underwater, its leaves change to show a distinct white and pale green pattern. Its upright, well-branched form brightens a group of dark green or red plants and adds fine texture to the midground or background. It grows slowly for a Hygrophila, making it unusually easy to maintain as a defined light-coloured accent.
Planting and care
Provide good light for clear white variegation and compact growth. Trim regularly to stimulate branching and retain a dense form.
