About the plant
Juncus repens comes from marshes in south-eastern North America and combines a grass-like character with the shapeability of a stem plant. In moderate light its leaves are pleasantly green, while unrestricted light and good micronutrient availability can produce reddish-brown tones. Growth is moderate but steady, making the group easy to control and use as a rhythmic background or transition.
Planting and care
Give it unrestricted access to light if you want to develop the reddish-brown colour. Propagate it like other stem plants by cutting and replanting healthy shoots.
