About the plant

Ludwigia palustris 'Super Red' är en kompakt kosmopolitisk stjälkväxt som blir röd lättare och håller sig mindre än Ludwigia repens 'Rubin'. Varje stjälk blir ungefär 10–30 cm hög och 2–4 cm bred. Plantan bildar gärna sidoskott och kan genom trimning formas till en mycket tät, intensivt röd grupp. Den lilla skalan gör den användbar som färgpunkt både i mellan- och bakgrunden.

Planting and care

Place the plant in bright light and provide added CO2 for the strongest colour and best growth. Cut the tops regularly to encourage more side shoots; the cut pieces root quickly when replanted.
