About the plant
Cryptocoryne x willisii is a rosette plant from Sri Lanka that was previously often sold under the incorrect name Cryptocoryne nevillii. After planting, it may take some time before growth becomes visible, but once established it readily produces runners and builds a compact group. It grows around 7–20 cm high, with each rosette around 7–15 cm wide, a useful size for the aquarium midground.
Planting and care
Plant the rosettes in nutrient-rich substrate and be patient during the first month. Leave the group relatively undisturbed and provide steady nutrition and added CO2 to support establishment and runner formation.
