About the plant
Ludwigia palustris 'Super Red' is a compact, cosmopolitan stem plant that colours red more readily and stays smaller than Ludwigia repens 'Rubin'. Each stem grows to around 10–30 cm tall and 2–4 cm wide. The plant readily produces side shoots and can be trimmed into a very dense, intensely red group. Its small scale makes it useful as a colour accent in both the midground and background.
Planting and care
Place the plant in bright light and provide added CO2 for the strongest colour and best growth. Cut the tops regularly to encourage more side shoots; the cut pieces root quickly when replanted.
