About the plant
Schismatoglottis prietoi is an unusual Philippine river plant with elliptical leaves 3–8 cm long that may resemble Anubias. It grows faster than Anubias and is planted in substrate, where it readily sends out runners and forms increasingly dense groups. The plant thrives in most aquariums and also tolerates very low light. In nature, it often occurs in large, continuous stands in running water.
Planting and care
Plant small portions in the bottom substrate and let the runners fill the foreground. The plant is undemanding; thin or move new plants when the group needs limiting.
