About the plant
Taxiphyllum alternans 'Taiwan Moss' grows horizontally and trails downwards, much like a smaller version of Weeping Moss. Its shape is best seen on branched wood or vertical stone, and the moss also works well for moss walls or concealing equipment. It is easy to care for and decorative, with relatively modest requirements.
Planting and care
Attach the moss thinly to wood or stone. Good light and a small amount of added CO2 promote denser growth and clearer branching. The species’ full botanical identity has not yet been finally established.
