About the plant
Bucephalandra pygmaea 'Bukit Kelam' grows naturally on stone and wood in the flowing waters of Borneo. In the aquarium it is used much like Anubias: as a slow-growing, hardy epiphyte on roots and stones. Its wavy green leaves grow to around 2 cm wide and 5 cm long and develop small white spots underwater. It branches readily without trimming, gradually forming a dense, orderly clump.
Planting and care
Place the plant in low to moderate light and attach it to hardscape. The creeping rhizome must not be covered with substrate, as the plant may then rot.
