About the plant
Cardamine lyrata is actually a Japanese marsh plant, but it also thrives underwater, where the stems can grow 20–50 cm long. Its characteristic trailing habit and rounded leaves create an airy, almost climbing feel. Small aerial roots often form along the stems, reinforcing its natural appearance. The plant can also be used in a garden pond during summer.
Planting and care
Plant several stems in a group and keep the water below 28 °C; higher temperatures produce smaller leaves and sparser growth. Trim and replant the tops when the group needs to become denser.
