About the plant
Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is a decorative hybrid between Echinodorus schluteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus 'Barthii'. It grows to around 20–50 cm tall and forms a rosette 20–40 cm wide. Its name comes from the elliptical dark spots on its reddish-brown leaves. The spots are most pronounced on the youngest leaves but remain visible even in lower light, making this variety a remarkably reliable patterned focal point.
Planting and care
Plant in nutrient-rich substrate with ample room around the rosette. The plant is undemanding and a good choice for beginners; remove older leaves when it needs shaping.
