About the plant
Eriocaulon cinereum is a small, very narrow-leaved plant with an almost cushion-like growth habit. It is more tolerant of moderately hard water than many other Eriocaulon, though soft water benefits its overall health. Numerous upright flower stalks create a distinctive, graphic look after planting. Flowering also takes considerable energy, so the plant needs good, stable conditions to rebuild vigour from the base.
Planting and care
Provide strong light, stable CO2 addition and preferably soft water. Keep nutrients and water values steady, and expect a recovery period after heavy flowering.
