About the plant

Bolbitis heudelotii is a West African fern with beautiful, slightly translucent green leaves. It grows to around 15–40 cm high and wide and is already attached to wood here, making it easy to place in the midground. The horizontal rhizome must remain free and must not be covered with substrate.

Planting and care

Place the piece of wood where the plant receives gentle circulation. It can be propagated by dividing the rhizome. CO2 clearly improves growth, and the plant develops best in soft, slightly acidic water.
