About the plant
Helanthium bolivianum 'Quadricostatus' has characteristic light green leaves around 10–15 cm long that brighten darker plants. Each rosette grows to around 15–20 cm wide and looks best as part of a unified group. In good conditions, the plant sends out runners and gradually spreads across the substrate. The species was previously sold under several Echinodorus names, including Echinodorus 'Quadricostatus'.
Planting and care
Plant the rosettes with space for new runners. Very pale leaves may indicate a micronutrient deficiency and should be followed up with balanced fertilisation.
